The God Who Sees

There are seasons when it feels as though no one notices the quiet battles we face, the hidden sacrifices we make, or the prayers we whisper when no one else is around. But Scripture reminds us of a powerful truth through the story of Hagar. In her moment of despair, she encountered the Lord and declared, “You are the God who sees me” (Genesis 16:13).

This name of God, El Roi, reveals His heart toward us. Even when we feel overlooked by people, we are never overlooked by Him. His gaze is not distant or critical, but loving and attentive. He sees every tear, every effort, and every act of faith done in silence.
